Here we are folks; For those playing in a league with a week 14 bye, then, for the top 2 teams, the playoffs have started. For those who aren’t in a league with a week 14 bye this is the final push for those top 4 playoff spots. Our picks this week are all plays to help you win now and claim the playoff spot you deserve. To those not in playoff contention then the waiver wire should still be your friend. Always play to get the best record you can. This time of year is when some players come to the forefront for their respective NFL teams and by giving up on fantasy early and clocking out you would miss this action. By playing till the end of the season, it means you are already starting next year’s draft prep and getting one foot in front of your league members who may have given up. With that said, over the top we go for one last push.
Case Keenum (20% owned). Only threw for 151 yards and a touchdown against the Bengals but takes on a 49ers team that was destroyed by Russell Wilson and is a bottom ten pass defence. Courtland Sutton had a career high 4 catches and looks to be starting to command more targets at just the right time. Keenum’s floor is fairly high. He won’t kill you this week and when the playoffs are in reach his floor could maor all the difference.
Justin Jackson (21% owned). Jackson will always split carries with Austin Ekeler and it took till the second half for him to get going he finished with 63 yards on just 8 carries including a Go-Ahead touchdown which capt the comeback for the bolts. He is a decent flex option this week against a shocking Cincinnati team. You can also expect Gordon to miss more time due to the playoffs around the corner, and as Sunday’s game proved, Eckler can’t carry all the load himself.
Dante Pettis (3% owned) 128 yards and 2 TDs over Seattle Over his last two weeks, Pettis has gained 205 yards and three trips into the end zone. He’s by far the number 1 WR add this week. Other then Kittle, there is nobody else to throw to for the 49ers. They play the Broncos this week, but it should still be a worthy play as no doubt the 49ers will be behind.
Ian Thomas (0% owned)
Greg Olsen left Carolina’s Week 13 defeat to the Bucs and he’s now out for the season. In Olsen’s absence, Thomas went 5-46. Cam loves his TE’s so Thomas will get some love. Well worth a punt. The Panthers need the win and Cam will use all his weapons to get over the line.
Tennessee Titans: (47% owned) This isn’t just a pickup for this week, but it is a pickup for the whole playoffs. Their schedule in the next three weeks is Jags at home, at the Giants, Redskins at home. They might not be an impressive defense so far, but that schedule is just too good to ignore. 3 top weeks from the Titans could be just the waiver wire medicine you need.
