I love to play the draftkings weekly NFL game during the main slate of Sunday games. For as little as a few pennies per entry into some contests your weekly line up has a chance to turn your stake into profit and adds a little bit of intrigue outside of your own teams match up. Here I bring you the scoring review by position and present the perfect line-up that could have won you millions…..

A big day for Mitch Trubisky with 355 passing yards and 3 touchdowns through the air. A bonus rushing touchdown is always nice for a QB and with a very appealing £5.6k salary a huge value for money game.

Running Back

Again value for money from the top points scorers. Nick Chubb had over 200 all purpose yards to accompany 2 end zone visits, David Johnson looked more like his old self and was the focal point of the Cardinals attack and the Packers finally fed Aaron Jones and then fed him some more.

Wide Receiver

Tyreek Hill is the definition of an explosive play and found the end zone twice on Sunday. Allen Robinson also found pay dirt twice on a 6 reception, 133 yard outing. Some great value here from the likes of Corey Davis, Anthony Miller and Zay Jones.

Tight End

A monster day for Eric Ebron with 3 total touchdowns. You will never complain with that type of production from a tight end but it must have been frustrating to owners to see him score all of those points in the first half and then not add to them. On the other end of the scale a relatively quiet day for the expensive option here in Travis Kelce.

Defence/Special Teams

Not a lot of points on offer all around from the defence this week with the Redskins coming out as top dogs.

So what was the maximum score and lineup that your 50k budget could have scored?

QB – Mitch Trubisky – 5.6k

RB – Nick Chubb – 5.5k

RB – David Johnson – 6.8k

WR – Tyreek Hill – 7.3k

WR – Allen Robinson – 5k

WR – Brandon Cooks – 6.7k

TE – Eric Ebron – 3.5k

D/ST – Redskins – 3k

FLEX – Aaron Jones – 5k

Highlighting the fact that real “value for money” selections lead the individual position charts this week allows the perfect team to select all 9 positions with the highest points returns and stay within the salary cap. This week’s perfect team would have cost 48.4k so you would have even had salary cap left over. In terms of points you would have scored a whopping 295.4 points.

The team I did enter scored a rather poor 152.9 points in comparison so safe to say I have some homework to do ahead of week 11. I will preview week 11 draftkings later in the week and hopefully we will have our ALL32 league set up soon for everyone to get involved. I’d love to know how you fared in draftkings this week if you played and just how close did your team get to 295.4 points?
