Your new preview blog will now land on ALL32 every Saturday morning. I’ll be looking ahead to the games themselves and letting you know how to catch the action live, who you will hear on the call, what the bookies are saying and also picking out some DraftKings players to look out for in each game. I’ll still be sharing my predictions for each game and for those of you keeping score I was an impressive 13-2 last week so here’s hoping for more of the same. Links to our other content is below but for now…….. week 13 looks like this……….

Sunday, December 2
Baltimore at Atlanta, Gamepass 6pm – Jim Nantz, Tony Romo & Tracy Wolfson. ODDS: Baltimore 19/20 – Atlanta 9/10.

The Ravens look like a different proposition with Lamar Jackson under center and he will look to engineer a 3rd straight win this weekend. The Falcons have been a disappointment this season and enter on the back of 3 straight defeats themselves. Atlanta are a better team at home though and Baltimore haven’t won away since week 6 so I’ll take the Falcons here. Shaun’s PICK – Falcons

DraftKings Players of Note

Gus Edwards RB BAL $4,800 – A starting running back with an attractive price tag, Edwards has been great over the last 2 weeks.

Denver at Cincinnati, Gamepass 6pm – Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta. ODDS: Denver 4/9 – Cincinnati 2/1.

Denver are ascending as Cincinnati slips away in the AFC wildcard race. Starting your back up QB against a defence that gave the Steelers a headache last week doesn’t appear to be a successful recipe for the Bengals but that will be the case here with Andy Dalton injured. Look for the Broncos to extend the winning run and hopefully get Phillip Lindsay some more touches. Shaun’s PICK – Broncos

DraftKings Players of Note

Phillip Lindsay RB DEN $5,400 – Bengals rank 28th in terms of points scored by running backs against them so with Case Keenum playing conservatively get onto Lindsay out of the backfield.

L.A. Rams at Detroit, Gamepass 6pm – Thom Brennaman, Chris Spielman & Shannon Spake. ODDS: LA 2/9 – Detroit 18/5

Fresh from a bye week and 54 points last time out I would fully expect the Rams to find their groove and get into the 1st seed for the NFC following the Saints loss on Thursday. Detroit lost on thanksgiving to the Bears and Kerryon Johnson looks set to miss out on this one so LeGarrette Blount will get the start at running back. I can’t see an upset at all here and think the Rams are a very safe bet. Shaun’s PICK – Rams

DraftKings Players of Note

Josh Reynolds WR LA $4,900 – Reynolds is the clear WR3 on the rams squad now and that means over 90% of the snaps on a high scoring team. Plenty of upside with this selection.

Arizona at Green Bay, Gamepass 6pm – Chris Myers, Daryl Johnston & Laura Okmin. ODDS: Arizona 6/1 – Packers 1/8

A game for me that the bookies have got priced up completely wrong. Yes the Packers should be favourites and the fact it is being played in Lambeau Field means they likely do come out victorious but this is not a convincing team at all and has a huge off season ahead of them as January football is surely nothing more than a pipedream. Cardinals play them closer than the odds suggest but their own lack of talent will be on display again. Shaun’s PICK – Packers

DraftKings Players of Note

Aaron Jones RB GB $6,700 – Jones is taking on a bigger role each week and is also getting looks in the passing game to boost his value more.

Cleveland at Houston, Sky Sports 6pm – Greg Gumbel, Bruce Arians, Trent Green & Melanie Collins. ODDS: Cleveland 21/10 – Houston 2/5

The Browns looked like an elite NFL team last week and their rookie QB is certainly playing at an elite level of the past few weeks. The Texans have won 8 in a row and now carry the longest winning streak in the league. An exciting match up which hopefully many of you will get to see as this is the SKY SPORTS early game on Sunday. Biased writer means a biased selection. GO BROWNS! Shaun’s PICK – Browns

DraftKings Players of Note

Nick Chubb RB CLE $7,000 – His salary keeps increasing each gameweek but so does his production. Look for Chubb to continue dominating snaps in the Browns backfield.

Indianapolis at Jacksonville, Gamepass 6pm – Tom McCarthy, Steve Beuerlein. ODDS: Indianapolis 1/2 – Jacksonville 7/4

The Colts continue to impress and the Jaguars continue to disappoint. A change of both quarterback and offensive co-ordinator is the latest attempt from Jacksonville to address their alarming slide but top running back Leonard Fournette is suspended. Andrew Luck has lost a nice target in Jack Doyle to IR this week but Eric Ebron looks like a really good tight end for the Colts despite doing nothing for years in Detroit. Shaun’s PICK – Colts

DraftKings Players of Note

Carlos Hyde RB JAX $3,300 – Everyone expected Fournette to have his suspension overturned – He didn’t so Hyde is a great value starting running back this week.

Buffalo at Miami, Gamepass 6pm – Andrew Catalon, James Lofton. ODDS: Buffalo 7/4 – Miami 1/2

Credit to Sean McDermott for somehow getting 4 wins on the board for Buffalo and with Josh Allen back at quarterback this game offers some hope for the fans that better times lie ahead. Miami need more big plays from their offence and hopefully with a full week of practice under his belt, Ryan Tannehill will be improved in his second week back from injury. Shaun’s PICK – Dolphins

DraftKings Players of Note

Robert Foster WR BUF $3,300 – Boom or bust type selection but Foster has 3 catches that have gone over 40 yards the past 2 weeks so he could land a decent points haul on only a few targets.

Chicago at N.Y. Giants, Gamepass 6pm – Kevin Burkhardt, Charles Davis & Pam Oliver. ODDS: Chicago 1/2 – New York 7/4

It looks likely it will be another week without Mitch Trubisky for Chicago but I would fully expect the defence to propel them to another win here. The Giants need to keep feeding Saquon Barkley as he was having a monster game last weekend before disappearing from the gameplan for the second half for some bizarre reason. Time is ticking on Eli and another loss is only tarnishing his legacy some more. Shaun’s PICK – Bears

DraftKings Players of Note

BEARS DEF/ST $3,300 – Kalil Mack is playing so in all likelihood it means that the Bears defence will be scoring some decent fantasy points.

Carolina at Tampa Bay, Gamepass 6pm – Kenny Albert, Ronde Barber & Sara Walsh. ODDS: Carolina 5/8 – Tampa Bay 11/8

A potential upset here to upset my podcast co-host Rob. Carolina are on a 3 game slide and are not as effective away from home. The Bucs got an all around team win last week against the 49ers and although this weeks opposition obviously is stiffer I feel as though the Bucs might just pull this one out. Jameis Winston retains the starting role for Tampa as Fitzmagic may finally be extinguished for good. Shaun’s PICK – Bucs

DraftKings Players of Note

D.J. Moore WR CAR $5,600 – Look for the Bucs to gameplan for McCaffrey and leave plenty of opportunities for the Panthers new #1 receiver to exploit.

Kansas City at Oakland, Gamepass 9:05pm – Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts & Evan Washburn. ODDS: Kansas City 1/14 – Oakland 9/1

Being as short of a price away from home tells you all that you need to know about this one. This may well come down to just how many points do the Chiefs want to score following 51 in a losing effort last time out. The Raiders might play for 3 weeks and not score 51 points and I definitely think that 50 plus points are easily in reach for Pat Mahomes and crew here. Shaun’s PICK – Chiefs

DraftKings Players of Note

Pat Mahomes QB KC $7,600 – On paper this is a blow-out game so look for the record setter to throw a few more passes into the end zone this weekend.

N.Y. Jets at Tennessee, Gamepass 9:05pm – Kevin Harlan, Rich Gannon & Steve Tasker. ODDS: New York 16/5 – Tennessee 1/4

A game I can’t get excited about unfortunately as the Titans have slipped away in the AFC playoff picture and the Jets continue to look like a terrible NFL team. The Titans being this short in the betting despite giving up 34 and 38 points in their last 2 games is an indication of how bad the Jets actually might be. Shaun’s PICK – Titans

DraftKings Players of Note

Titans DEF/ST – For no other reason than the opposition this could be a decent play but the trust level is low here.

Minnesota at New England, Sky Sports 9:25pm – Joe Buck, Troy Aikman & Erin Andrews. ODDS: Minnesota 9/5 – New England 7/15

A nice late evening game for SKY SPORTS viewers which will keep a lot of viewers away from the “redzone” coverage with not a lot of other appealing games in the late window. I still like the Vikings as a team and Adam Thielen as a receiver but the Patriots are historically great at home and usual play their best football from December onwards. It wouldn’t be the biggest surprise to see the Vikings win but I’ll take New England at home. Shaun’s PICK – Patriots

DraftKings Players of Note

Adam Thielen WR MIN $8,000 – When points per reception matter, why would you look past the most targeted receiver in the league in a favourable match up?

San Francisco at Seattle, Gamepass 9:25pm – Dick Stockton, Mark Schlereth & Jennifer Hale. ODDS: San Francisco 16/5 – Seattle 1/4

I confess to being a huge Russell Wilson fan and love watching him play. He is making names out of players you have never likely heard of before outside of Seattle and the defence although not anywhere near its “legion of boom” days is competitive enough. I’m sure 49ers fans are looking forward to the off season and on a brighter note I’m sure a franchise will overpay for the #1 pick in the draft if San Francisco secure it. Shaun’s PICK – Seahawks

DraftKings Players of Note

David Moore WR SEA $4,300 – Moore has made plays in recent weeks and gets a good opportunity against the lowly ranked 49ers defence.

Monday, December 3rd

L.A. Chargers at Pittsburgh, Sky Sports & Gamepass 1:20 am – Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth & Michelle Tafoya. ODDS: LA 6/4 – Pittsburgh 4/7

This weeks game of the week preview will drop on Sunday morning. Shaun’s PICK – Chargers

Tuesday, December 4th
Washington at Philadelphia, Sky Sports & Gamepass 1:15 am – Joe Tessitore, Jason Witten, Booger McFarland & Lisa Salters. ODDS: Washington 12/5 – Philadelphia 4/11

2 seasons hanging by a thread for different reasons. The Redskins due to losing their starting quarterback and needed to address a losing streak to keep divisional aspirations alive. The Eagles due to inconsistent play throughout the year and a record that would suggest just that. The Eagles have 3 big divisional games left on the slate and arguably need to win them all. I think they take this one and keep the NFC East as tight and unpredictable as ever. Shaun’s PICK – Eagles
